The company was created in 2001 by entrepreneur Barbara Fine, using an authentic scone recipe from her English grandmother, as the inspiration for the best selling, all natural, no preservative gourmet products. Our account list has grown dramatically while selling to better independent West Coast coffee houses and upscale natural food specialty markets, including the trendy Fred Segal of Santa Monica, California. All products are individually packaged to preserve their freshness and high moisture content. Due to customer demand and the uniqueness of our products, the company ships its gifts as far away as New York. The ingredients are listed proudly on the Fine Sconehenge label.

The company is owned by both Barbara and her husband Fred. All of their accounts are sold by Fred, who has taken his many years of sales, marketing and manufacturing in the competitive contemporary women's apparel industry, and applied the same energy to marketing the Fine Sconehenge baked products. "The process of selling the Fine Sconehenge products to our customers is a fun experience," says Fred, "and unlike the fickle apparel business, everybody just raves about our gourmet items and there are never any returns! We sell many accounts that have their own bakeries which is the ultimate compliment. They have an amazing shelf life for no preservative products due to our manufacturing process and secret recipes. Most of our customers have few, if any, left prior to their next delivery." The Fine Sconehenge products are sold out weekly and are distributed by 175 quality retailers throughout the Western Region.
